How are monthly active users (MAUs) calculated?
An active user means someone logging into your product in any given month. If the same user logs in multiple times, we count them as one active user. We don't charge you for dormant users who may be in your database but don't log any activity during a given month. If you have a lot of guest users (ie. prior to log-in), reach out to us for a custom quote. We use this as part of our pricing because our costs are proportional to the number of users we need to track and maintain data for, and the number of API calls we need to make.
What happens if I exceed my plan’s limit (exceed the MAUs allowed)?
If you exceed your plan, we'll keep all of your Jimo interactions running and somebody from our team will reach out about upgrading your account at your next billing cycle.
Is there a free trial?
Absolutely, our 21 day trial offers full functionality. It’s free, no credit card is required. You can also try Jimo for free and use our Chrome extension to build and preview in-app interactions on your site.
What’s the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your plan anytime.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, we support every web-based app regardless of the user’s device. But we suggest you to create a separate segment for mobile users since the real estate is limited compared to desktop. Note: Currently we don’t support native iOS / Android apps, but it’s coming soon!
